Painting with glazes

  • Pick the colors you'd like to use for your project.
  • Pick the brushes.
  • Start painting. 
  • Three coats are needed.
  • Wait for the paint to dry before each coat.
  • Rinse your used brushes between each color change.
  • Check for white spots.
  • Let us know when you are done.
  • We will fire it in our kiln.
  • Your piece will be ready in 7-10 days.
  • Your piece is food-safe.

care for your glazes

  • Avoid rapid temperature changes, such as the microwave, oven, or dishwasher to ensure a longer life for your artwork.  Earthenware is not recommended for microwave, oven or dishwasher use.
  • Hand washing our hand painted creating is recommended.
  • Allow a warm pottery piece to cool before putting it info cold water.
  • Be gentle when handling your ceramics and avoid letting pieces bump against other pottery or objects to prevent chipping.
  • Treat your pottery with the same love and care as fine art.
